Superstar Mohanlal recently became Lieutenant Colonel after he was made the brand ambassador of the Indian Army. He said that everyone expects him to be in army uniform wherever he goes but as per the rules he can appear in the uniform only in army functions. He added that he will do a course on how to use the machine gun and de-mining a mined area. He will also lead his battalion in the Territorial Army parade in New Delhi. Since he is a honorary officer, he will not be paid any salary.
