Meena’s marriage is to be held on July 12th. Meena is the daughter of yester year actress Raj Mallika and Durairaj. She made her debut as a child artist in the film Nenjangal. She became popular by starring with Rajni in Anbulla Rajnikanth. After this she continued to be a popular child star in Tamil and Telugu films. She did the lead roles in Oru Pudhiya Kadhai and Idhaya Oonjal. She became a popular heroine after pairing with Raj Kiran in En Raasavin Manasile. She became a top star by pairing with Rajnikanth in the film Ejamaan. She had acted in more than 150 films in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada films. She had acted with all the leading actors in all languages.

She had received many awards including the Tamil Nadu Government State Kalaimamani Award and Andhra Pradesh State Government Nandi Award. She also acted in TV serial Lakshmi produced by Sun TV. Now she has been engaged to Bangalore based software engineer Vidhyasagar. The marriage has been fixed on July 12th. The engagement took place day before yesterday.
