Malayalam superstar Mohanlal celebrated his 49th birthday on Tuesday in a hotel room in Thiruvananthapuram. There was not much fanfare this time and hardly any celebrations as his father-in-law has passed away recently. Mohanlal who is a veteran of more than 300 films Wanted[^] to avoid celebrations because saddened by his father-in-law's demise.

The cast and the crew of the movie Alexander The Great organised a cake cutting ceremony for the veteran actor. The movie is being produced by V.B.K Menon and directed by murali[^] Nagavally and shooting is expected to finish by the end of June. Apart from Alexander The Great, Mohanlal[^] is also busy with his multi-lingual Unnaipol Oruvan with Tamil superstar Kamal Hassan
